It is hard to believe that REACH Caregivers have been serving our community for over 16 years!  In 1990 a small group of compassionate, concerned community members reached out by making themselves available 24 hours a day for Crisis Intervention such as emergency motel placements, food, medication, and more.  REACH Caregivers have come a long way in sixteen years time continuing to make a difference through our 24 hour Crisis Intervention and reaching out even more through Faith in Action and the Cold Weather Shelter for the Homeless.  This past year alone over 900 volunteers gave 23,000 hours of service to our community!  This is truly a testimony to the commitment of REACH Caregivers, as well as to the undeniable need in our area. The Cold Weather Shelter and Day Resource Center, founded 1996, provide homeless adults a safe shelter of last resort to avoid the risk of death or bodily harm from hypothermia and to provide information and services to shelter guests for specific needs they are facing.  Last winter, Community Triangle partnered with local churches to pack bag lunches for homeless individuals at REACH's cold weather shelter.  In 2007 we continued our efforts to help individuals with REACH's bagged lunch program.  We delivered around 420 bagged lunches between Feb 18-25.
